About Vendome
For more than 45 years, Vendome Press has been publishing high-quality illustrated books on architecture, interior design, art history, decorative arts, fashion, photography, and travel. Mindful of our founder’s vision to produce each title with a consummate refinement worthy of the press’s namesake, Paris’s exclusive Place Vendôme, we approach our projects as a couturier would, fashioning one-of-a-kind creations. As a result, each of our titles is unique, produced by our team of experienced editors, designers, and production people in collaboration with a small group of domestic and international suppliers—paper mills, prepress houses, printers, and other specialists. Our goal is to tailor our books to reflect the distinctive voices and creative talents of our authors, photographers, and illustrators.

We avidly promote and widely distribute each Vendome publication through booksellers, wholesalers, online retailers, and special markets. Because we invest so much time and effort in each project, we do not authorize eBooks, as we believe that every Vendome publication deserves to be read, enjoyed, and collected. Unlike other publishers, Vendome does not remainder books or sell off stock at deep discounts. For this reason, Vendome supports its backlist, keeping in print books originally published many decades ago.
Sustainability is integral to our publishing process. We print exclusively on FSC-certified paper and are proud to be a brand partner of Trees for the Future, supporting global communities through sustainable land use. By planting trees, we help create thriving regional economies, robust food systems, and a healthier planet.

We are grateful for your support of Vendome’s program and welcome your feedback.

As a publishing house, it is important to us to take environmental responsibility and involve ourselves in sustainability initiatives that help offset our carbon footprint. We are proud to partner with the nonprofit organization Trees for the Future. A global leader in agroforestry training, Trees for the Future recognizes that unsustainable land use is the root cause of our most pressing challenges. They confront these challenges by serving the people at the heart of our global food systems, providing hands-on training and resources to farming communities, working with thousands of families across five countries in sub-Saharan Africa. By embracing sustainable land practices, farmers are reclaiming their agency, breaking the cycles of climate change and generational poverty, and rebuilding our food systems from the ground up.
